
Students were given an existing head model and asked to re-sculpt it using Maya's sculpt tools. They were then required to edit the UV map and create a PSD network to apply realistic texturing to the form.
During the term of the course, students will learn how art assets are created and implemented. They will learn the concepts and fundamentals of two-dimensional images and three-dimensional objects. They will also learn what software and techniques are used with different games and the concepts of how to apply those techniques in the current video game industry.
